Brookes & Gibson was established in 2004 and compiles, prints and distributes paper and digital publications based on official data from National Hydrographic Offices, Flag State and Port Authorities and other regulatory bodies. The business is now recognised as the world’s largest independent distributor of Notices to Mariners and tracings.

Based in the UK, Brookes and Gibson has been built around solid marine experience, complementing the other businesses within United Navigation. It has licenses to distribute material from the British Crown, US Federal Agencies and other specialist navigation titles.

Brookes & Gibson products are exclusively distributed through selected chart agents, chandlers and nautical bookshops. These include:
